The Heart of the Church is Sabbath School.
There are no ringing bells, but Sabbath mornings finds members and visitors wending their way to the small chapel where Sabbath School begins. Just what is that brings people to church early on Sabbath morning? Some of the comments overheard, " I don't want to miss anything", " I learn some practical approaches for my life", and "I look forward to the group discussion".
Every Sabbath morning is spent in learning from Scripture and from each other. We welcome visitors to join us for a lively discussion of the current lesson, bring their questions or add their own thoughts on the study.
The Adult Lesson Study this quarter is entitled "DISCIPLESHIP". Group faciltators (formerly called teachers) - Lewis and Nelson welcome members and lead out with opening prayer before delving into an intense discussion of the week's study for the next 45 minutes.
The Lower division classes for the children are in a classroom off the Fellowship Hall, and the enthusiastic leadership of the teacher is dynamic and engages the children from the moment they enter the class. In an alcove of the Fellowship Hall you will find the youth engaged in intense discussion and study of their current study.
Join us any Sabbath you are in town - we welcome you.
